As Indianmandarins had reported on 21st October 2016 (Web-link below) Rajiv Kumar Gupta (IFoS:1988) appointed Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Oil India Limited; a post lying vacant for months. Currently, Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Ambasht (CVO, ONGC) holds the additional charge of OIL CVO. Gupta has replaced Anand Kumar (IPS:1988:UP) as new CVO, OIL. Currently, Kumar serves in Mizoram as Secretary, Dept of Electricity & Power. In his previous stint at the Centre, he served as a Director in Ministry of Power.
