New Delhi (28.07.2023): The Bhupendra Patel government in Gujarat has enacted a major reshuffle by transferring 65 IPS officers with immediate effect. The names of these officers are as follows:
- Dr Shamsher Singh (IPS: 1991: GJ) has been appointed as Director General of Police (Law and Order), Gandhinagar by upgrading cadre post in Additional Director General of Police Grade to ex-cadre post in Director General of Police Grade.
- Gyanender Singh Malik (IPS: 1993: GJ) has been appointed as Commissioner of Police, Ahmedabad City by downgrading ex-cadre post in Director General of Police Grade to cadre post in Additional Director General of Police Grade.
- Dr Neeraj Gotru (IPS: 1993: GJ) has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Training), Gandhinagar by downgrading ex-cadre post of Director General of Police (Training), Gandhinagar to cadre post in Additional Director General of Police (Training), Gandhinagar.
- R B Brahmbhatt (IPS: 1995: GJ) has been appointed Additional Director General of Police, CID (Intelligence), Gandhinagar.
- Narasimha N. Komar (IPS: 1996: GJ) has been appointed as Additional Director General of Police (Admin.), Gandhinagar by upgrading ex-cadre post in Inspector General of Police Grade to cadre post in Additional Director General of Police Grade. He will hold additional charge of Additional Director General of Police (Inquiry), Gandhinagar and Additional Director General of Police (Armed Unit), Gandhinagar.
