The government is said to have ordered an inquiry into power outages during MoS Piyush Goyal's press conference last week. But BJP insiders are not impressed; they have a different take on the incident. Goyal, according to them, had been warned that May 20 was not an auspicious day and that the first press conference to publicise the government's achievements in the last two years should not be launched that day. But he did not pay heed to such superstitions. Now, those who believed in the 'inauspicious day' theory are worried about other press meets lined up as part of NDA's second-anniversary celebrations and are now looking for upcoming auspicious days.  This time, Goyal and the government are not impressed; and they are going ahead with their scheduled press briefings to highlight the achievements of the NaMo administration@2.
