New Delhi (08.02.2026): The US–India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) strengthens its leadership ranks by appointing Rohit Kumar Singh, former Union Secretary for Consumer Affairs, as the Chair of the Global Value Chains Committee and Advisor to the Board of Directors. Currently, Dr Mukesh Aghi is the President and CEO of USISPF.

Rohit Kumar Singh, a 1989-batch IAS officer of Rajasthan Cadre, transitions into this role following a brief post retirement stint as Member at National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCRDC). 

In his new capacity he will spearhead initiatives to build diversified and smooth supply chains between the U.S. and India. In addition, he will work with global stakeholders to harmonize trade standards by integrating India deeper into global networks to boost exports and GDP.

He is widely recognized for modernizing India’s consumer protection landscape. He pioneered the country's first AI-enabled grievance redressal system and digitized consumer courts, leading to a historic milestone in 2023 where case resolutions out-paced new filings.
