Shillong (17.01.2024): The Meghalaya government has appointed four retired IAS officers in various Council, Corporations, Boards and Authorities under Planning, Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Department.

  • Prashant Naik has been appointed as senior Advisor for Sustainable Mobility under Meghalaya Integrated Transport Project for a period up to 25.05.2024. 
  • Hector Marwein, former Additional Chief Secretary, has been inducted as Chairman of Meghalaya Sustainable Development Council for a period up to 18.02.2026.
  • Ram Mohan Mishra has been appointed as Executive Chairman of Meghalaya State Investment Promotion Board for a period up to 30.06.2026.
  • P Kharkongor has been appointed as Senior Advisor for Agro-Logistics under MITP for a period up to 30.06.2024.
