Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that four IPS officers of 1996 batch, currently posted in CBI, are keenly waiting for IG rank posting in CBI. Reportedly, two posts of Joint Directors are vacant in the agency whereas four eligibles are waiting their turn. Joint Director Ms Neena Singh and Vineet Vinayak are holding one additional each of Joint Director.
In addition, few Joint Directors are set to complete their central deputation period which has made their juniors hopeful but it all depends on a lot of variables.
Officers waiting for their turn to be Joint Directors are Bhanu Bhaskar (IPS:1996:UP), currently posted in CBI Training Academy, Ghaziabad; Manish Kishore Sinha (IPS:1996:JK), posted in Bangalore; Dr. Shankhabrata Baghchi (IPS:1996:AP) posted in Patna and Navin Kumar Singh (IPS:1996:JH), currently posted in Kolkata ACB CBI.
