New Delhi (14.09.2023): Gopal Baglay (IFS: 1992), presently High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Australia. Santosh Jha (IFS: 1993), presently Ambassador of India to Belgium, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka.They are expected to take up the assignment shortly. Baglay served in the PMO before moving to Sri Lanka. He also had a brief stint as MEA spokesperson.
