Kolkata (02.03.2025): The All India Trinamool Congress announced four candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections scheduled to be held on March 16, 2026 which included the name of former officiating DGP of West Bengal Rajeev Kumar (Retd IPS: 1989: WB).The other names included Babul Supriyo, sitting MLA from Ballygunj in Kolkata, Menaka Guruswamy, Supreme Court lawyer, and Koel Mallick, Bengali actress.
