Bhubaneswar (28.09.2024): Arun Kumar Sarangi (IPS: 1990: OD), Special Director General of Police (Training) and Director, Biiu Patnaik State Police Academy (BPSPA), has been appointed as the Chairman of Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) for a period of Six years.Sarangi will turn 62 on July 25, 2027, he can remain as OPSC Chairman for 2 years and 10 months. It is to be noted here that the senior IPS officer was in-charge DGP of Odisha from December 31, 2023 to August 16, 2024. Earlier, Satyajit Mohanty (IPS: 1988: OD) was also appointed OPSC Chairman and remained in the post till he turned 62.
