New Delhi (21.06.2024): After the new government has taken over at the Centre, it is now back to business with ten officers being appointed as private secretaries of Union Ministers. Senior ministers like Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Singh Puri, Giriraj Singh and Manohar Lal. Apparently these appointments were made before any preference is given to ministers especially in the case of Nitin Gadkari. The name of these officers are as follows:
  • Shinde Deepak Arjun (IAS: 2012: AGMUT) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Road Transport & Highways Nitin Jairam Gadkari for the period upto 31.08.2026.
  • Rasaal Dwivedi (IRS C&CE: 2011) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri for the period up to 15.03.2026.
  • Raman Kumar (IAS: 2009: BH) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh for the period upto 28.11.2026.
  • B Vijay Datta (IAS: 2011: MP) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power Manohar Lal for the period up to 19.01.2026.

  • S S Nakul (IAS: 2010: KN) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman at the level of Director for the period up to 24.01.2026.

  • Dr S Tejaswi Naik (IAS: 2009: MP) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel H D Kumaraswamy in the Ministry of Heavy Industries at the level of Director for the period up to 14.12.2027.

  • Vinay KaushaI (IRS IT: 2011) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the leveI of Deputy Secretary for the period up to 27.01.2027.
  • Anirudh Sravan Pulipaka (IAS: 2011: KN) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for the period up to 26.09.2028.
  • Takhat Singh Ranawat (IFoS: 2007: KN) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Heavy Industries & Steel H D Kumaraswamy in the Ministry of Steel at the level of Director for the period up to 24.11.2026.
  • Chaudhari Uday Gaurishankar (IAS: 2010: MH) was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Jal Shaktl C R Patil in the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation at the level of Director for the period up to 23.06.2026.
