Five senior IPS officers get Apex scale in Govt of India

As many as five senior IPS officers currently holding th DG ranks posts have been accorded Apex Scale (Secretary Rank scale) in Government of India. They are;
Aruna M Bahuguna (IPS:1979:AP), Director, National Police Academy; PA, Meeran C Borwankar (IPS:1981:MH), Director, BPR&D; K Durga Prasad (IPS:1981:AP), DG, CRPF; Krishnan Kumar Sharma (IPS:1982:RJ), DG, BSF; Surendra Kumar Bhagat (IPS:1982:UT), DG, Railway Protection Force and M K Singla (IPS:1982:KL), Special Secretary (Internal Security) in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
