New Delhi (04.07.2022): Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey has been summoned by the ED on July 5 in a money-laundering probe related to the NSE co-location scam. Retired IPS officer Sanjay was holding the post of Managing Director of Maharashtra State Security Corporation before being appointed as the Mumbai Police Commissioner. When Pandey was not in service, the firm named iSec Services Pvt Ltd was incorporated. He quit the directorship in May 2006, and made his son and mother directors in the firm. Between 2010 and 2015, a firm named iSec Services Pvt Ltd was given the contract for NSE servers and systems. Earlier, the CBI had investigated this matter and now the ED is doing the investigation, which Sanjay Pandey has been summoned by the ED to join.
