New Delhi (08.06.2025): A special CBI court has acquitted former Coal Secretary H C Gupta, ex-joint secretary (coal) K S Kropha and the then director K C Samaria in a coal scam case. Special CBI Judge Sanjay Bansal announced his verdict in connection with Mahugarhi Coal Block in Jharkhand. The Special Judge convicted JAS Infrastructure Capital Ltd and it’s the then director Manoj Kumar Jayaswal for cheating and criminal conspiracy in this case.
