The much-awaited decisions are finally which had been critical to the efficient functioning of Enforcement Directorate ailing for years for want of adequate manpower in senior management.
The appointments were reportedly cleared 03rd November finally which was recommended by Dept of Revenue on 13th October. They are; Rajeshwar Singh (ED cadre); Sanjay Lawania (IRS); Neeraj Gupta (IPS); Gauri Shankar (IPS); Vishal Sanaf (IRS); Manik Abel (IRS); Dinesh Bhoiyer (IRS); Dajebder Siddhu (IRS-IT); Raman Gupta (IPS).
It may be noted that the Enforcement Directorate has been hamstrung for want of manpower for years. Currently, it is said to be functioning with a bare strength of approx 700 personnel of all ranks versus the sanctioned strength of 2,064.
