The Enforcement Directorate has affected a minor reshuffle of assignments in the level of Joint Director. Accordingly, Jt Director Santosh Mathuria (IRS C&CE:2001) has been given the charge of Intelligence & Vigilance, Jt Director Himanshu Lal (IPS:2003:OR) has been assigned with Training whereas Rahul Rajput (IRS C&CE:2006) has been given fresh assignments of Administration and Bihar region. Rajput was appointed as Jt Director, ED in the month of August this year.
ED has been grappling with huge vacancies since long. Reportedly, it has been functioning through a mere strength of 448 as against the sanctioned strength of 1592.
