ECI: Sharma gets extension in tenure and re-employment post retirement

New Delhi (18.04.2023): The New Delhi establishment on Tuesday extension in central deputation tenure of Dharmendra Sharma (IAS:1988:UT) as DG of India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) till 30.09.2023 i.e. the date of his superannuation. It may be underlined that DG (Training) in Election Commission of India was upgraded and re-designated as DG, IIDEM.Further, the Centre has also the approved re-employment of Dharmendra Sharma as DG, IIIDEM in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India on contract basis for a period of one year beyond the date of his superannuation i.e. from 01.10.2023 to 30.09.2024.
