The former CM wants his son to be projected as the next chief ministerial candidate who is likely to contest Assembly from the Shikaripura constituency. The constituency was represented by the former CM eight times. Meanwhile, incumbent CM Basavaraj Bommai too unofficially claimed that elections will be contested under Yediyurappa.
