Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has asked the PESB to send the name of second selected candidate (a name in sealed envelop) for the post of Director (Finance), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC).
Reportedly, Harish Chandra (GGM, CONCOR), in November last year, had expressed his unwillingness to accept the post for which the PESB had selected him on 24 February 2015. This is the trigger for consideration of the second name.
Te post fell vacant on 24 October 2014 after Ravindra Nath, then Director, Finance, was promoted as CMD.
