Sources said: "An allotment letter has been issued. There are four bungalows in the area of Civil lines where the Social Welfare Minister and Deputy Speaker have been allotted houses. The remaining two bungalows have been allotted to the Chief Minister.  One bungalow will be the CM residence and the other will be CM's camp office."

Public Works Department (PWD) has already started the renovation process. Once the renovation is complete in around two months, CM will move to her official residence. The PWD has floated multiple tenders for the renovation of ministerial bungalows and also for officers’ bungalows as well as for the CM's camp office. The approximate expenditure is Rs 47 lakh. Another tender for similar work is Rs 90 lakh.
