Dhirendra Veer Singh has been selected for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, Tehri Hydropower Development Corporation in a selection interview held today. Presently D V Singh serves as as Director (Technical), THDC.
Altogether five candidates appeared before PESB namely; Sridhar Patra (Director Finance, THDC); Amarjit Singh Bindra (Director Finance, SJVNL); C K Annan (Director Finance, SECIL) and Anil Jain (ED, PGCIL).
Subject to requisite clearance and ACC approval D V Singh will replace R S T Sai, the outgoing CMD, scheduled to retire on November 30, 2016. Sai took over as CMD March 09, 2007.
The post was advertised on 18 March this year.
