996New Delhi (22.08.2025): The Supreme Court Collegium has
recommended that two additional judges of the Gauhati High Court be confirmed
as permanent High Court judges. The decision was taken at a meeting of the
Collegium held on August 19. The judges recommended are: The Collegium has also recommended the appointment of
Justice Kaushik Goswami as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court for a
fresh one-year term, effective from November 10, 2025.

New Delhi (22.08.2025): The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended that two additional judges of the Gauhati High Court be confirmed as permanent High Court judges. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on August 19.
The judges recommended are:
- Justice Budi Habung
- Justice N Unni Krishnan Nair
The Collegium has also recommended the appointment of Justice Kaushik Goswami as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court for a fresh one-year term, effective from November 10, 2025.
