As the CMD of BECIL, Cmde D.K. Murali, IN (Retd.) will be accountable to the Board of Directors and Government of India, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of BECIL to achieve its corporate objectives and performance goals. Regarding his role, the CMD said: "I am honored to join BECIL and lead this esteemed organization. I look forward to working with the talented team of BECIL to drive innovation, excellence, and growth in the core areas of operation of BECIL.” Prior to this, Cmde D K Murali, IN (Retd.) had served in the Indian Navy, for nearly 35 years, having been commissioned as an officer in Nov 1989.
