The public sector headhunter on Wednesday selected Cmde Ajay Kumar Jolly for the post of Chairman and Managing Director, The Jute Corporation of India Ltd. Currently, he serves as Chairman and Managing Director, Navy.
Subject to requisite clearances and ACC ratification he may succeed K V R Murthy, the outgoing CMD retiring in January 2019.
Altogether four candidates appeared before the board today for selection interview. They are Sameer Kapoor (CGM, STC India Ltd.); Kushal Bhaduri (AGM, NTPC Ltd.); Bijaya Kumar Dash (DGM, SAIL) and Cmde Ajay Kumar Jolly (CMD, NAVY).
