'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that the ongoing cadre restructuring may create two additional posts of Additional Director General and 12 of Inspector General. As per the sanctioned strength CISF has two posts in the rank of ADG and nine in the rank of IG.
Reportedly, MHA and DoPT are working together on the cadre restructuring of CISF.
A couple of months back, MHA had sanctioned creation of 10 additional posts in the rank of DIG. MHA is the final authority in this respect and does not require ACC's ratification.
