New Delhi (18.05.2023): The eleven member Central Information Commission is all set to bid a farewell to Neeraj Gupta (Retd IAS:1982:UP) today. Former Union Secretary for Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM), member the core team for three union budgets from 2016 -2018 and Central Information Commissioner (CIC) is concluding his term today on attainment of 65 years of age. He joined as CIC in 2019. As a career bureaucrat he had over 44 years long experience in the areas of trade, commerce, bilateral/ multilateral negotiations, trade defence, quasi-judicial work, industry, higher education, investment management and finance. Before joining the Government of India, worked in the State of Uttar Pradesh in the departments of Health, Medical Education, Infrastructure, Sugar Industry, Housing, Higher & Technical Education and Home.
