With partial countrywide relaxation in the lockdown in view of COVID-19 pandemic, Chhattisgarh Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Subrat Sahu (IAS:1992: Chhatisgarh) has issued an order telling the district magistrates that they must follow the guideline of Union Home Ministry in the cases of people coming to state using their own vehicle from the hotspot areas of other parts of the state.

The relaxation should not be made a mockery. No one should be allowed for unspecified reasons as outlined by the Home Ministry. The government has issued a sticker for vehicles traveling in the otherwise restricted areas. It clearly instructed that such people should not be allowed to enter the state without document verification by the authorities and must be sent to 15 days home quarantine or in isolation.
