Chandigarh (16.09.2024): The Chandigarh administration has sent the list of officers named for key posts like Finance Secretary, Municipal Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner to the Ministry of Home Affairs for approval. The strongest contenders for these posts are Basant Garg (IAS: 2005: PB), Amit Kumar (IAS: 2008: PB) and Nishant Kumar Yadav (IAS: 2013: HY). They are in the race of Finance Secretary, Municipal Commissioner (MC) and Deputy Commissioner (DC) respectively.
