New Delhi (09.10.2025): The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has empanelled and promoted half a dozen Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officers to the post of Principal Chief Commissioner/ Principal Director General to the Level 17 of the Pay Matrix (Apex Scale) against the panel year 2025. These officers will assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ basis till the time they are entrusted with new responsibilities suiting their promoted status while those on deputation would be promoted on return to cadre. The names of these officers are as follows:
