New Delhi (31.12.2024): The Department of Revenue announced the fresh allocation of responsibilities and charges among members of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC). Yet it remains incomplete and calls for another small reshuffle.
The allocation was awaited since Mohan Kumar Singh (IRS C&IT: 1989) took over the charge as Member on Rajeev Talwar’s superannuation on November 30. Interestingly, the relocation didn’t factor in Yogendra Garg (IRS CIT: 1990) who all set to succeed Alok Shukla w.e.f. January 01, 2025. Shukla retired today as Member (Administration & Vigilance).
Indianmandarins learns that in the next re-allocation of work Aruna Narayan Gupta may get responsibilities that Shukla held as Member (Administration & Vigilance).
