New Delhi (29.07.2023): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered case against two joint directors -- Manjit Singh and Puneet Duggal – of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and others for allegedly receiving bribe from Alok Industries for favourable settlement of a matter against the company being investigated by the Ministry.In a further development, the CBI arrested Manjit Singh, Puneet Duggal and two others. The central agency has recovered around Rs 60 lakh cash during searches at the premises of accused in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.
