He will oversee Principal DG (HRD), Principal DG (Training), and DG, Vigilance. Further, Sanjay Bahadur (IRS IT: 1989) Member (Income Tax), has been given the additional charge as In-charge of the West Zone, covering Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur.These changes follow the retirement of Prabodh Seth, a 1989-batch IRS IT officer, from the Member (Administration) position in CBDT.It may be underlined that the Centre is currently in the process of selecting two new Members for the CBDT, indicating potential further changes in the board's composition.
