New Delhi (17.07.2025): The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has effected a major reshuffle in the top structure of the field formation. Altogether, eight senior IRS (Income Tax) officers in the rank of Principal Chief Commissioner / Principal Director General were reshuffled as follows:
  1. Preeti Garg (PCCIT, TN & Puducherry) is now Principal Chief Commissioner (PCCIT), Karnataka & Goa
  2. M Anil Kumar (PCCIT Kerala) is now  to Principal Chief Commissioner, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana
  3. Surabhi Varma Garg, PCCIT (OSD) is now Principal CCIT, West Bengal & Sikkim
  4. E S Nagendra Prasad, PCCIT (OSD) is now PCCIT, Tamil Nadu & Puducherry
  5. Amal Pusp, PCCIT (OSD) is now PCCIT, Uttar Pradesh (East)
  6. Amitav, PCCIT (OSD) is now Principal DG (I&C), Delhi
  7. Prasenjit Singh PCCIT (OSD) is now Principal DG (Training), Delhi
  8. Peeyush Jain PCCIT (OSD) is now Principal Chief Commissioner (Income Tax), Kerala
