BJP-RSS still not on the same page on BJP president’s issue

New Delhi (08.08.2024): A tug of war kind of situation prevails between the BJP and RSS over the appointment of the next BJP president. Many names did rounds in the recent past but no consensus has been reached upon. The latest information is that the BJP proposed the name of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as party president but the RSS has yet to give its nod. Pradhan has ABVP background but the way he handled NEET issue and other similar issues; the BJP leadership issue is not happy with his conduct.
