Rajiv Bansal (IAS:1988:NL) has been given additional charge of the post of Air India; a post which fell vacant following the appointment of Ashwani Lohani (IRSME:1980) as Chairman, Railway Board late evening today.
Currently Bansal serves as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He was recently empanelled by the NaMo administration to hold Additional Secretary level post in Govt of India.
