New Delhi (18.12.2023): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Monday are as follows:
- The additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism was assigned to T. K. Ramachandran (IAS: 1991: TN), Secretary, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways till 31.12.2023 during the period of absence on leave of V Vidyavathi (IAS: 1991: KN)
- The ACC cleared the appointment of Rashmi Singh (CGM, SAIL) as Director (Commercial) in MOIL Limited till the date of her superannuation i.e. 31.05.2027.
- Dr S Tejaswi Naik (IAS: 2009: MP) was appointed as Private Secretary to Arjun Munda, Union Minister for Agriculture & Farmer’s Welfare (M/o A&FW) & Tribal Affairs in M/o A&FW for a period ending 14.12.2027 i.e. for the balance period of five years tenure as PS.
- Datla Sreenivasa Varma (IPS: 1997: MP) was appointed as Joint Director, CBI for a period of five years.
- Harsh Gupta (IAS: 1997:KN) was prematurely repatriated to parent cadre with the condition of extended cooling off. Currently, he is working as Project Director (JS level), National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project (NCRMP), National Disaster Management Authority, Ministry of Home Affairs.
- Raghav Langer (IAS: 2009: UD) was appointed to the post of Director in D/o Water Resources, RD & GR for a tenure upto 03.10.2025 (i.e. maximum admissible period of 7 years away from cadre).
- Ramana Babu C V was appointed to the post of Director (Marketing), ITI Ltd. on immediate absorption basis till 31.07.2028 i.e. the date of his superannuation. Currently, he is Principal General Manager (PGM), BSNL.
- Pramod Sharma (IRSE: 1989) was appointed to the post of Director (Works), National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) till the date of attaining the age of 60 years. Currently, he is working as Principal Executive Director (Contract), NHSRCL.
- Dr N V Chalapathi Rao was appointed to the post of Director, National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Thiruvananthapuram. Currently, he is Professor, Department of Geology, BHU, Varanasi.
- The ACC cleared the appointment of Inspector General (North), IG (South), IG (East) and IG (Headquarters) in Assam Rifles, on deputation basis, for a period of 18 months.
