New Delhi (03.07.2024): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:-
Ashutosh Jindal (IAS: 1995: TR) was appointed as Minister (Economic) in the Economic Wing, Embassy of India, Washington DC, USA for a period of three years. He is Additional Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat.
Nikunj Kumar Srivastava (IAS: 1998: MP) was appointed as Senior Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC, USA for a period of three years. He replaces Rajeev Topno (IAS: 1996: GJ).
Hrisheekesh Arvind Modak (IAS: 2008: MN) was appointed as Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC, USA for a period of three years. Currently, Modak is working as Director, PMO. He replaces Rajender Kumar (IAS: 2004: GJ) in World Bank.
Anshika Arora (IES: 2010) was appointed as Counsellor (Services), Permanent Mission of India (PMI), World Trade Organization (WTO), Geneva vice Sangeeta Saxena (IES: 2001). Saxena will be completing her tenure in WTO on 18.07.2024. Currently, Anshika Arora is Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce.
Ashutosh Salil (IAS: 2010: MH) was appointed as Adviser (Industry & Engineering), Embassy of India, Brussels vice N Ashok Kumar (IAS: 2004: MN).
Rajinder Khanna (IPS: 1978: OD), serving as Dy NSA, was appointed as the Additional NSA. It may be underlined that Rajinder Khanna retired in December 2016 as R&AW Chief.
T V Ravichandran (IPS: 1990: TN), Special Director in IB, was appointed as Deputy National Security Advisor (Dy NSA).
Pawan Kapoor (IFS: 1990) has been appointed as Deputy National Security Advisors (Dy NSA).
Brahm Dutt (retired Joint Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat),
a private person, was appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister of State
(Independent Charge) for Statistics and Programme Implementation and Minister
of Planning and Minister of State for Culture Rao lnderjit Singh in the NITI
Aayog at the level of Director on contract basis.
Lingraj Panda (lAS: 2015: OD) was appointed to the post of
Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy for a
period of four years.
Lavanya Kumar Kannikala Ramamurthy (IFS: 2009), Director in
the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, was prematurely repatriated to his
parent cadre on personal grounds.
Eranki Venkata Bhaskar (IRS lT:2009) was
appointed as private secretary to the Minister for Coal and Mines G Kishan
Reddy in the Ministry of Coal for the period up to 29.09.2026.
Dr B N Gangadhar, President of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board, as the Chairperson of the National Medical Commission [in terms of Section 4 of the NMC Act, 2019].
Dr Sanjay Behari, Director of Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, as the President of the Medical Assessment and Rating Board [in terms of Section 17(2) of the NMC Act, 2019].
Dr Anil D’Cruz, Director (Oncology) of Apollo Hospital, Mumbai, as a whole-time member of the Post-Graduate Medical Education Board [in terms of Section 17(2) of the NMC Act, 2019].
Dr Rajendra Achyut Badwe, Professor Emeritus at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, was appointed as a part-time member of the Under-Graduate Medical Education Board for a period of 2 years, until he attains the age of 70 years.
