New Delhi (28.09.2021): The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet on Tuesday cleared various proposals of appointment and extension. The notifications issued by DoPT are as follows:

• The deputation tenure of S M Sahai (IPS:1987:JK) was extended for a period of one year beyond 23.09.2021. Presently, he is Additional Secretary, National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS).
• The central deputation tenure of Ms. Vijayalakshmi Bidari (IAS:2001:MH), Controller, URSC, Department of Space, was extended for a period of six months beyond 20.01 .2022.
• The central deputation tenure of Pramod Kumar (IDSE:1992), Director, Ministry of Home Affairs, was extended for a period of one year beyond 06.10.2021 i.e. ending 06.10.2022. He counts his central deputation tenure w.e.f. 07.10.2016.
• The central deputation tenure of Vijay Bhaskar Gurala (IDES:1999), Director in the Department of School Education & Literacy, was extended for a period of two years beyond 28.09.2021 i.e. up to 28.09.2023.
