The Centre on Tuesday prematurely repatriated Gyaneshwar Singh (IPS: 1999: HP) to his parent cadre with immediate effect and with the provision of “extended cooling off”. Currently, he is serving as Deputy Director General, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Raman Kumar Meena (IPS: 2011: HP) has been inducted as Superintendent
of Police (SP) in the CBI for a period of five years. Additional charge of the post of CVO, Power Grid Corporation
of India Ltd. (PGCIL), Delhi/NCR, has been entrusted with Simmi R. Nakra (IP&T
AFS: 1994), CVO, Power Finance Corporation (PFC), Delhi, for a period of six
months.
