New Delhi (15.03.2023): Notifications of appointments and recommendations issued on Wednesday are as follows:
  • The tenure of temporary upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary in Ministry of AYUSH to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India, presently held by Pramod Kumar Pathak (IFoS:1986:KL) was extended up to 30.06.2023.
  • The tenure of downgradation of the post of Additional Secretary to the level of Joint Secretary in the Direct Benefit Transfer Mission, Cabinet Secretariat, presently held by Saurabh Kumar Tiwari, (IP&TA&FS:1993) was extended up to 10.12.2023.
  • The tenure of temporary upgradation of the post of Additional Secretary in Department of Justice held by Rajinder Kumar Kashyap (IPoS:1989) was extended up to 31.12.2023. 
  • The tenure of temporary upgradation of the post of  Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Steel, presently held by Ms. Ruchika Chaudhry (IRS IT:1990) was extended for term up to 25.03.2024.
  • The tenure of upgradation of the post of Director General, Sports Authority of India (SAI), Department of Sports from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Sandip Pradhan (IRS IT:1990) was extended for term up to 24.03.2024. 
  • The tenure of upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Home, presently held by Praveen Vashista (IPS:1991:BH) was extended up to 14.01.2024.
  • The tenure of upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Financial Services, presently held by Suchindra Misra (IDAS:1992) was extended up to 09.06.2023. 
  • The tenure of upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), presently held by Arvind Shrivastava (IAS:1994:KN) was extended up to 24.03.2024.
  • Saurav Ray (IDES: 1994), Custodian of Enemy Property of India (CEPI) (JS level), in the office of CEPI, New Delhi, Ministry of Home Affairs, was prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
  • Ms Iva Ashish Srivastava (IAS:2010:UD) was appointed as Director of Census Operations(DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration(DCR) Uttarakhand for a period upto 31.12.2025.
  • Lokesh Kumar Jain (IRS C&CE:2009) was appointed as Director in the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation for a period of five years.
  • The Deputy Secretary post in the Department of Justice presently held by Chandra Mohiyar Bathala (IRPS:2009) was re-designated as Director, as a measure personal to him for a period upto 29.09.2024 i.e combined tenure of five years.
  • With the concurrence of the Government of West Bengal and Government of Uttarakhand the Central Government transferred Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar (IFS:2018:WB) from West Bengal Cadre to Uttarakhand Cadre on the grounds of his marriage with Ms Rekha Yadav (IFS:2019:UD).
  • The tenure of Onkar Singh (IRSME:1997), Joint Secretary (Director level) in the Union Public Service Commission, was extended for a period of two years beyond 09.04.2023 and upto 09.04.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
