• The Centre, on request of Govt of Manipur, repatriated Prashant Kumar Singh (IAS: 1993: MN) to the Cadre. Currently, he is Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. He will succeed Vineet Joshi (IAS: 1992: MN) as new Chief Secretary of the state.
• Ritu Ranjan Mittar was appointed as Whole-Time Member in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a tenure of three years, or till the age of 65 years. He is is former Head & Advisor, Telecommunication Engineering Centre.
• Maruthi Prasad Tangirala (IP&TAFS: 1990) was appointed as Whole-Time Member in the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for a tenure of three years, or till the age of 65 years. He is Additional Secretary, Department of Financial Services.
