- Revenue Secretary Sanjay Malhotra (IAS: 1990: RJ) was appointed as 26th Governor of Reserve Bank of India for a three-year term beginning Wednesday. He replaces Shaktikant Das (Retd (IAS: 1980: TN).
- Om Prakash Meena (YOA: 2007) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Burkina Faso.
- Abhay Kumar (IFS: 2003), presently Deputy Director General, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Georgia.
- The tenure of Dr Pawan K Godatwar as Technical Officer- Traditional Medicine at WHO- SEARO, New Delhi was extended for a further period of one year from 04.10.2024 and up to 03.10.2025. He has been on this international assignment since 04.10.2021.
- Tenure of Rani Bindu Sachdeva (IPS: 2006: HP), DIG/Director, BPR&D, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 07.02.2025 (7th year) in relaxation of the IPS Tenure Policy.
