'Indianmandarins' has reliably learnt that cross-verification and re-examination of the matter is causing delay in appointment as Director (Finance) BHEL. If sources are to be believed the PMO is examining the matter which may take some more time.
S K Sahni (GM, BHEL) was duly selected for the post on October 21 last year and was expected to take over as Director (Finance) from P K Bajpayee who retired on May 31 this year.
After the appointment orders failed to match the time-line Atul Sobti, Director (Power) BHEL, was given with the additional charge of Director (Finance) as well.
