New Delhi (04.06.2024): Will there be start of yet another family tradition in politics in Bihar with reports coming over that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar may introduce his 49-year-old son Nishant Kumar in politics as his heir apparent soon. Nishant will be inducted into JD U in a moderate role, sources informed. The Bihar CM will entrust him with some position to work with rural development Minister Shravan Kumar, his trusted lieutenant. So, Nishant will be groomed to play some key role at a later stage. This move of Nitish Kumar may stop the disintegration of JD U. There were speculations that a part of the JD U leaders may drift towards RJD in case the health of Nitish Kumar declines in the coming years. In such a scenario Nitish Kumar may take this crucial move to save the JD U from disintegration and elevate his son Nishant on political horizon of Bihar.
