New Delhi (23.10.2024): Around a dozen names are doing rounds for the post of National president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but suddenly the name of Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh too is being discussed for the post. Interestingly his replacement too is being talked about. Grapevine is abuzz that Rajnath Singh will be replaced by J&K LG Manoj Sinha as Union Defence Minister. The way things of the party were handled by Singh especially the issue of Kesav Prasad Maurya and many other, he may be entrusted with the job. He may accept it also as this will endorse his position on number two after Modi yet again and his dream of becoming PM.
