New Delhi (26.02.2022): Former NSE top official Anand Subramanian is Himalayan Yogi? The CBI investigation has indicated this possibility after the continuous grilling of former officials. Thus the mystery of Himalayan Yogi has started unfolding now.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) late Thursday night arrested Anand Subramanian, a former National Stock Exchange (NSE) group operating officer from Chennai.
This is the first arrest by the agency in connection with the exchange of emails ongoing probe on the emails unearthed by SEBI between Chitra Ramkrishna, and an unidentified individual referred to as “Yogi”.
Subramanian has been remanded to CBI custody till March 6. The agency had grilled him in Chennai for four days earlier this week. Sources said that preliminary investigations and confrontation of Subramanian with the emails indicate that either he himself is the “Himalayan Yogi” or is aware of the identity of the mysterious Yogi who received confidential information from the former NSE Chairperson Chitra Ramkrishna.
