acc-directed-to-decide-sanjivs-case-expeditiously The CAT has ordered the ACC to decide the issue of inter-cadre deputation of the Indian Forest Service officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi as 'expeditiously' as possible. In an order passed on April 29, 2016, it has also directed the DoPT and the MoEFC to submit a proposal for the inter-cadre deputation of Chaturvedi to the ACC within two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of its order. This is the third time in the past one year that the ACC has been taken to task by the CAT on the pleas made by the victimized forest service officer. In May 2015, while quashing the ACC order for seeking a fresh consent from the state govts concerned for a cadre transfer from Haryana to Uttatarakhand, it had exhorted the committee headed by the PM not to promote corruption and punish honesty. Then again in November 2015 it had asked the ACC to decide on the issue of deputation of the officer to the government of Delhi by January 5, 2016 because of their dilatory tactics.
