Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has debarred Harish Chandra (GGM, CONCOR) from being considered for the post of any Board level post in any Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) except one (CONCOR) which he belongs to.
Chandra had denied accepting the post of Director (Finance) National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) for which he was selected by the PESB on 24 February 2015.
Further in the first week of this month the ACC had asked PESB to send the reserve name to be considered for the post.
The post fell vacant on 24 October 2014 after Ravindra Nath, then Director (Finance) was promoted as CMD.
