ACC cleared six Board level appointments in Central PSUs; Baba became first CMD of POSOCO

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi cleared the Board level appointments in six Central PSUs which included one CMD post. Accordingly, K V S Baba was appointed as the first CMD of POSOCO Limited which came into existence as a separate entity on January 03 this year. Currently Baba serves as CEO, PSOSCO.
In addition, five Directors were appointed in ECL, ECIL, RCFL and SCI. Accordingly;
Sunil Kumar Jha (GM, NCL) appointed as Director (Technical), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) for a period ending 30 December 2019.
Rear Admiral Sanjay Chaubey appointed as Director (Technical), Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) for a period of five years. Currently he serves as Project Director, Indian Navy.
Mrs. Sangeeta Anil Sharma and Rajesh Sood, both serving as Senior VP in SCI, appointed to the post of Director (Liner and Passenger Services) and Director (Technical & Offshore Services) respectively in Shipping Corporation of India.
Sudhir Dattatraya (CGM, RCFL) appointed to the post of Director, (Technical) in Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL) for a period of five years.
