New Delhi (08.07.2023): The Public Enterprise Selection
Board (PESB) on Friday selected Pankaj Malhotra for the post of Member
(Finance) of Airports Authority of India (AAI). Currently, Malhotra is working
as Executive Director, Central Electronics Limited. The post of Member (Finance) in Airports Authority of India
(AAI) is lying vacant. Altogether seven candidates were interviewed for the
post. Subject to requisite clearances and ACC approval, Malhotra will be
appointed Member (Finance). This is to recall that earlier selection meeting was held but
results were withheld due to the matter reached Delhi High Court when a case was
filed by Dr Geeta Sharma, Director (Finance), HLL Lifecare Limited for she
being ignored for the interview. Dr Geeta Sharma was called for selection
meeting and performance of the candidates including Dr Sharma was assessed and
the Board recommended Malhotra for the appointment to the post of Member
(Finance), AAI. The above recommendation is subject to the final outcome of the
LPA in the Delhi High Court.
