A serving and a former IAS may be appointed as Adviser by NITI Aayog

1689Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Sandeep
Pondrik (IAS:1991:BH) and Dr Prem Singh (Ex IAS:2000:MT) may be picked up for
the post of Adviser, NITI Aayog. Earlier, Dr Prem Singh had joined private sector
after he took VRS from the IAS. If top sources are to be believed Pondrik may be
given the role to advise NITI Aayog in energy sector. He has an extensive
experience of working in oil sector as JS, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural
Gas. Nine candidates were interviewed yesterday by the
Aayog for the post of Adviser and Senior Adviser. This includes two internal
candidates who too are likely to be appointed as Senior Adviser.

Indianmandarins has reliably learnt that Sandeep
Pondrik (IAS:1991:BH) and Dr Prem Singh (Ex IAS:2000:MT) may be picked up for
the post of Adviser, NITI Aayog.
Earlier, Dr Prem Singh had joined private sector after he took VRS from the IAS.
If top sources are to be believed Pondrik may be given the role to advise NITI Aayog in energy sector. He has an extensive experience of working in oil sector as JS, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
